Search and document secret-looking paths without false command denials. The legacy sensitive-path shell-text regex is retired.
Refresh installed core policies when the updated daemon starts. Old rule files cannot keep firing after a binary update.

Both daemon launch forms refresh managed core policies from the running binary before loading OPA. Custom rules, enabled library policies, and explicit development bundles are preserved.

Harmless source searches, documentation commands, and certificate inspection no longer receive a sensitive-path denial solely from their shell text.
Binary-only updates no longer leave stale managed core policy files active in the restarted daemon.
Security
The sandbox enforces its configured filesystem restrictions at actual access. Other command rules, approvals, MCP policies, native file-tool rules, and historical audit rendering remain unchanged.
Hook-only launches lose the retired heuristic. Sandbox coverage varies by platform and does not deny every secret-looking filename in an allowed workspace.
A failed core-policy refresh stops daemon startup before it serves requests with stale policies.
Published at the maintainer's request with the clean-VM release gate incomplete: 4.1 GiB RAM was available against its 6.0 GiB requirement. Broad host integration checks also remain incomplete because host-proxy approval was unavailable in the build session.
