Omsi-Hub 0.2.48.706

Choose a tag to compare

@github-actions github-actions released this 17 Oct 11:43

Omsi-Hub 0.2.48.706, built on openOMSI 0.2.48. Builds from this fork install this release by themselves (Settings - updates); it holds openOMSI's own changes up to openOMSI 0.2.48.

Install

  1. Download Omsi-Hub-0.2.48.706-windows-x64.zip below.
  2. Unzip it into a new, empty folder (not over an official openOMSI).
  3. Start Omsi-Hub.exe. Omsi-Hub needs an installed OMSI 2: the first start asks for its folder.

openOMSI-0.2.48.706-windows-x64.zip is the same release for the updater of older Omsi-Hub builds (its programs carry their old names until the first start renames them).

Mac

The Mac files are added to this release a little after the Windows zip, once they are built.

  1. Download Omsi-Hub-0.2.48.706-macos-arm64.dmg for Apple silicon (M1 and later), or Omsi-Hub-0.2.48.706-macos-x64.dmg for an Intel Mac (Apple menu > About This Mac shows the chip).
  2. Open the .dmg and drag the app to Applications.
  3. The app is not signed with an Apple Developer account: the first time, right-click it, choose Open, then Open again. If macOS says it "is damaged", run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Omsi-Hub.app once in Terminal.
  4. Copy OMSI 2's content (maps, buses, sceneries) into Omsi-Hub's content folder: "Read me first (Mac)" in the .dmg says where.

The Omsi-Hub-0.2.48.706-macos-*.zip files are the same app in the form the updater installs, the openOMSI-0.2.48.706-macos-*.zip ones that for older Omsi-Hub builds.

Changes since 0.2.48.705

  • Add-on: the oldest openOMSI it works with is 0.2.22 - the plugin API's duty.get and duty.trips came with it

Bugs: the logs %USERPROFILE%\.openomsi\launcher.log and game.log, with what you did and what happened.
