Fix

• YouTube Shorts links (e.g. /shorts/VIDEO_ID) now validate and show the white preview card correctly
• Shorts / youtu.be normalized to watch?v= for probe + download
• Sturdier async link check (same video id = same result)

Install

2. Extract
3. Double-click YTtoFile.exe

Dumb-simple install

1. Download YTtoFile-v0.2.0.zip below
2. Extract the folder
3. Double-click YTtoFile.exe

First run

• Pick language (EN / PT-BR)
• Install deps if asked (yt-dlp + ffmpeg + Deno into vendor\ — no admin)

If Windows says "Windows protected your PC"

The EXE is unsigned (paid certificate not used).
More info → Run anyway. That's normal for free tools.

Keep the whole folder together (do not move only the .exe).
