First public release. Pulse turns Fitbit Air data into Whoop-style readiness metrics, computed entirely on device. No server, no subscription, no tracking.
Just want a look? Build it and tap Demo mode on the welcome screen: 120 days of realistic sample data, no Google account and no setup needed.
What's in it
- Recovery (1–99 %) from HRV, resting HR, sleep and respiration against your own 30-day baseline
- Strain (0–21) from heart-rate-reserve zones, with a daily target derived from your recovery
- Sleep with need, debt, consistency, a stage hypnogram and a bedtime recommendation
- Pulse Age, a biological age estimate anchored on VO₂max and HRV against sex- and age-specific reference norms
- Health monitor with a proactive warning when several values drift from your baseline
- Journal with correlations against the next day's recovery, labelled solid or trend
- Trends over 7 / 30 / 90 days, resolution adapting to the range
- Two home-screen widgets, background sync with morning and bedtime notifications
- English and German, switchable without a restart
Known limitations
- Not on the App Store. Build it with Xcode; a free Apple ID works but the build expires after 7 days.
- The Google Cloud project stays in testing mode for personal use, so the sign-in expires every 7 days and needs one tap to renew.
- Sleep-derived values appear after a night wearing the band, and Pulse Age needs roughly 30 days before it leaves the calibrating state.
- The in-app sync log is still German only.
