Neoloader v7.0.0 - PBR3

PBR3 is the final planned public beta before the Neoloader v7.0.0 release. This update focuses on completing the new localization framework, expanding language support, improving reliability, and addressing the remaining edge cases discovered during PBR2 testing.

Changes since PBR2

Localization

  • Introduced the new Lexicon localization framework.

  • Migrated bundled Neoloader components away from the previous localization system.

  • Added support for:

    • Danish
    • Dutch
    • Esperanto
    • German
    • Indonesian
    • Italian
    • Polish
    • Turkish

  • Added language fallback and transliteration support for unsupported Vendetta Online font glyphs.

  • Improved consistency across translated setup, recovery, manager, and notification interfaces.

neomgr

  • Migrated neomgr to Lexicon.
  • Improved compatibility with the new v7 plugin APIs.
  • Added direct access to the setup wizard from the manager.
  • Fixed a number of layout and interface issues.
  • Corrected display problems affecting some mobile and VR devices.

Recovery

  • Added registry cleanup and repair functionality for invalid or stale registry entries.
  • Improved bundled plugin recovery.
  • Improved handling of manager recovery and startup repair.
  • Refined several recovery actions and cleanup paths.

Registry and loader

  • Improved plugin activation tracking.
  • Improved handling of plugin version state and launch transitions.
  • Fixed several edge cases involving plugin registration and activation.
  • Improved startup robustness and registry consistency.
  • Continued cleanup of loader and startup behavior.

Setup

  • Completed migration to the new localization framework.
  • Improved language handling throughout setup.
  • Removed obsolete setup implementation paths.
  • Continued cleanup and polish of first-run configuration.

General fixes and polish

  • Improved compatibility with existing plugins.
  • Continued cleanup of startup, recovery, and bundled systems.
  • Reduced duplicate bundled assets.
  • Corrected numerous smaller bugs, edge cases, and user interface issues discovered during PBR2 testing.

Notes

  • Barring any significant issues discovered during public testing, PBR3 is expected to be reissued as the final Neoloader v7.0.0 release.
