About Magic Money

Magic Money is a multi-chain self-custody wallet available as a Chrome extension, Electron desktop application, and Android app. It is designed to provide seamless interoperability and transaction management across Cardano, Solana, EVM-compatible chains, Bitcoin, Polkadot, Tron, Dogecoin, and privacy-focused networks.

Release Notes (v0.5.3)

The built-in browser grows up: a password manager with autofill, bookmarks, sharing, and the everyday browser behaviours that were missing — fullscreen video and right-click/long-press menus — on both desktop and Android.

What's New — Password Manager

• Save website logins in an encrypted vault, protected by your existing wallet password (PBKDF2-600k → AES-256-GCM, stored only on your device and never synced).
• Locking your wallet — manually or after the idle timeout — closes the password manager with it.
• Autofill: saved logins are filled in automatically when you open a matching sign-in page. Exact-domain matches only, HTTPS only, and nothing is ever submitted for you. A confirmation appears so a fill is never silent.
• Import your existing passwords: on desktop, directly from Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi or Chromium. On every platform, from a CSV export (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Bitwarden, LastPass and 1Password formats are all recognised).

What's New — Bookmarks, Sharing and Web Apps

• A ☆ at the end of the address bar saves the page you are on; a full bookmarks manager lets you search, rename and remove.
• New menu button gathers the password manager, bookmarks, Magic Guard, Tor Mode and the save-and-share tools in one place.
• Share the current page: copy link, QR code, email, or Android's system share sheet.
• Install a site as an app — a Start-menu shortcut on Windows, a desktop entry on Linux, or a home-screen shortcut on Android. It opens straight back into the Magic Money browser rather than your system browser.
• Save a full offline copy of a page, or capture a screenshot, on desktop.

What's New — Browser Essentials

• Fullscreen video now works on YouTube, Twitter/X and anywhere else, on both desktop and Android.
• Right-click (desktop) and long-press (Android) menus for links and images: open in a new tab, copy the address, copy the image itself, save it, or share it.
• Downloads work throughout the browser, saving to your Downloads folder with progress shown.
• On Android, downloads are deliberately blocked while Tor Mode is on — Android's download service ignores the browser's proxy, so allowing it would send an unprotected request.
