Magic Money - Version 0.9.0
Magic Money - Version 0.9.0
Welcome to Magic Money Beta, a multi-chain self-custody crypto wallet built for the modern developer and power user.
About Magic Money
Magic Money is a multi-chain self-custody wallet available as a Chrome extension, Electron desktop application, and Android app. It is designed to provide seamless interoperability and transaction management across Cardano, Solana, EVM-compatible chains, Bitcoin, Polkadot, Tron, Dogecoin, and privacy-focused networks.
Release Notes (v0.9.0)
The built-in browser grows up: it now remembers your downloads and where you have been, and the address bar can take you back there.
What's New — Downloads Manager
- A proper downloads tray in the dApp browser — open it from the ☰ menu, with Ctrl+J, or from the toolbar button that appears with a live progress percentage while something is saving.
- Open, Show in folder, Delete from disk, Remove from list, Pause / Resume / Cancel, Retry and Copy link, with per-file progress, size, source and time.
- Everything the wallet saves lands in one place — downloaded files, saved pages, screenshots and NFT artwork all share the tray, because they all share the folder.
- A file you deleted outside the app is noticed on the next look, so its Open button greys out instead of failing.
- Available on desktop, Android and iOS. On Android, downloads are still refused while Tor Mode is on — and now the tray's Retry is held to the same rule.
What's New — Browsing History
- A history panel (☰ → History, or Ctrl+H) grouped by day, with search and per-row Open, Copy link, Forget site and Remove, plus Clear all.
- Your history is local only. It is never synced, never uploaded, and never leaves the device.
- Nothing is recorded while Tor Mode is on, and the panel tells you so rather than just looking empty.
What's New — A Smarter Address Bar
- Start typing and the bar now offers recent sites alongside the App Hub apps it always suggested — the pages you actually visit, ranked by how often and how recently you go there.
- The App Hub suggestions are unchanged and still there; recents sit above them.
- Android and iOS get a suggestion list for the first time — the phone address bar previously had none at all.
What's New — Import Any Token or NFT
- + Import now works on every EVM network, not just user-added ones. Auto-detection is provider-driven and misses things — new deploys, thin-liquidity tokens, collections an indexer has not picked up — so pasting a contract address is now the fallback everywhere.
- Imported assets are deduplicated against the chain's own indexer, so an asset both sources return still shows up once.
Also in this release
- Bookmarks now opens as the same anchored card as Passwords, Downloads and History, instead of taking over the whole window.
- Row actions across the browser panels carry proper accessible names, so a screen reader hears "Delete quarterly-report.pdf" rather than four identical "Delete"s.
