ldm 3.4.11-1
The greeter is sized for the monitor it is on.
The greeter took its size from monitor 0 and put every window at the top-left corner of the screen - the same monitor only by luck. LTSP sets several outputs side by side, each --left-of the one before, so the monitor at that corner is the last output, not the first. With outputs of different sizes the prompt sat on a large monitor sized for a small one: the picture filled a corner, the rest was black, and the fields and the pointer were off-centre.
Measured with two outputs on a virtual X server - 2560×1440 at the corner, 1920×1080 as monitor 0:
| before | now | |
|---|---|---|
| large monitor (prompt) | picture in a 1920×1080 corner, rest black | filled, fields centred |
| small monitor | black | the picture, fitted to its own size |
| pointer | 960,540 | 1280,720 |
The prompt stays where it has always been, on the monitor at the top-left corner, and takes that monitor's size, background included. The host, language and preference windows follow, because GTK centres them under the pointer and the pointer now starts in the middle of that monitor.
Mirrored outputs are left as they were: fitting the picture to the larger one as well put a second horizon around the first. A single monitor and mirrored outputs are pixel-identical to 3.4.10-1 - the only difference found was the clock's minute.
