WHITE ALBUM 2 English Translation v1.2.0

Version 1.2.0 replaces the English manuscript throughout the complete release with a new literary retranslation and bilingual editorial pass.

Included

  • Introductory Chapter, Closing Chapter, and Coda
  • WHITE ALBUM 2 Special Contents
  • Eleven audio dramas with embedded and external English subtitles
  • The translated digital novels The Snow Melts, and Until the Snow Falls and The Idol Who Forgot How to Sing as PDFs
  • Native Windows and Wine/CrossOver main-game builds in one archive

The online script browser has also been updated to v1.2.0, with all 77,198 main-game and Special Contents lines available beside the Japanese source.

This build also replaces the inherited textbox reflow derivative without changing the v1.2.0 translation. Normal story pages are now hard-capped at 55 CP932 half-width cells per line and three lines per page, with longer text continuing through the engine's native page-break control.

Verification

The main-game and Special Contents patches passed structural, source-order, control-code, replacement-slot, textbox-envelope, and round-trip verification. The textbox profile was measured from all 70,359 mapped story slots in the pinned technical base. The audio-drama remuxes preserve the source audio and video packet streams exactly while replacing the English subtitle track. The complete archive passed member, CRC, checksum, and public-text privacy checks.

The Windows hook was built from source and structurally validated, but native Windows gameplay was not locally smoke-tested. The unchanged Wine/CrossOver runtime was tested for v1.1.0; the v1.2.0 text rebuild passed static verification and was not relaunched.
