v0.3.20-beta Highlights

  • The Pill stays expanded through transcription and formatting, uses the full-spectrum processing loop only while work is pending, and collapses once after completion.
  • Open/close playback uses a shorter monotonic timeline with no duplicated first frame.
  • Local formatting defaults to qwen3:1.7b, stays warm for the workday, and falls back immediately while model preparation is still running.
  • Ordered-list cleanup and question punctuation are more reliable.

  • Talk-Dat-Windows-Portable.zip is the no-installer portable build.

First Run

Launch the app, choose a speech provider, paste your own API key, and save setup. The microphone stays off until you press a trigger or click the pill.

Privacy

This release does not contain API keys, private config, dictionaries, snippets, or transcript history. On Windows, saved provider keys use Windows Credential Manager; non-secret preferences and local content stay under %APPDATA%\TalkDat.
