Release list
HealthLog iOS 1.0.3 (279)
HealthLog Companion App 1.0.3 (279) is available on the App Store. This release publishes the corresponding source code.
- Medical explanations link to their references, with a sources library under More.
- Health comparisons and estimates state their basis and limitations.
- Coach responses identify generated content, use the selected language for safety instructions, and apply consistent response checks across provider paths.
- Permission descriptions match the implemented features; the widget privacy manifest reflects the APIs it uses.
Read the App Store announcement. TestFlight remains free, and you can build the app from source using the README instructions.
The SpO₂/body-fat cursor recovery and sync-diagnostics corrections remain tracked in #7. They are not included in this build; HealthLog server v1.38.25 contains the server-side compatibility fix.
1.0.0 RC1
HealthLog 1.0.0 is the first version headed for the App Store. This tag marks
the release candidate: the exact source of the build that is now in final
acceptance testing on real devices. If that acceptance passes, this is what
ships as 1.0.0.
What 1.0 is
HealthLog is a health companion for iPhone and Apple Watch that keeps you in
charge of your data: bring your own server, or use the app entirely offline.
Version 1.0 rounds off years of steady releases:
- Medication management that understands real regimens — daily, weekly,
cyclic and as-needed schedules, honest adherence, critical-dose alarms,
Live Activities, and injection-site tracking with a per-site deny list. - GLP-1 support treated seriously — drug-level curves computed from your
actual doses, titration plans, and weekly cadences. - Apple Health sync for measurements, workouts, sleep, ECG recordings and
mood — with a one-time notice after updating if your installation never
finished connecting, which now clears itself the moment you answer Apple's
permission sheet. - A Health Score with honest availability — it computes from whatever
you actually track, down to a single pillar, and stays out of the way until
there is something to score. - Insights with interactive charts and score rings, widgets, App Intents,
Spotlight, and a full Apple Watch app. - Sign in the way the web does — on self-hosted servers the app can open
your instance's own login page, so passkeys and password managers work
exactly as they do in the browser. Accounts set up on the web are
recognized as complete on first sign-in (thanks to the very first
community bug report, #1). - Settings that tell the truth — glucose targets live with your profile,
injection sites live with your medications, and Privacy & Security keeps
the biometric app lock.

Try it
The current build is free to try on TestFlight:
testflight.apple.com/join/bucuTBpa.
Or build from source — the README walks you through it; no paid developer
account is needed for the Simulator.
Status
This is a release candidate, not the release. It is under final acceptance on
physical devices right now; anything found there results in a new candidate.
Feedback and issues are very welcome.
