Voxy doesnt work on mac

I use mac book max m4 (full model name: "MX2V3").

In the previous version of the mod (0.2.6) Minecraft did not crash (as in version 0.2.5 of this mod), but I could not access the mod settings.

The problem with current (0.2.7) version of the mod is that settings work, but if I enable voxy rendering and increase chunks (or even set to minimum - 64 - chunks) - it has absolutely no effect.

But though it doesn't work, I really appreciate author's work on this mod, because this mod potentially would make Minecraft look, like "Minecraft 2" :D

To explain, voxy needs OpenGL 4.6 while apple only ships OpenGL 4.1 for some reason on their devices, so voxy automatically disables itself.

I know that I'm a bit late but a few months ago on 0.2.5 alpha, I found a way to sort of circumnavigate this issue. I saw that some people were working on bringing native Vulkan and OpenGL 4.6 support to Mac through custom drivers. As far as I'm aware, they aren't complete but I'll try look for his project and post it here if I find it

It'd because OpenGL is depreciated on Mac, Apple has no interest in it anymore

Afaik the openglonmetal/MGL does not work for mc/voxy

what you actually want is Zink->KosmicKrisp/MoltenVK->Metal, I'm sure there's guides out there
