GazeOff v0.1.2

Choose a tag to compare

@MDSD0 MDSD0 released this 18 Jun 12:50

GazeOff v0.1.2 fixes onboarding, defaults, and the live Stats chart.

Fixed

  • Welcome now appears once for this onboarding version, including upgrades from earlier releases
  • Stats bar tooltips no longer blink while live data refreshes
  • Website assets are cache-busted so the rounded blob-style blink appears immediately

Recommended defaults

  • 20-minute work interval
  • 25-second short break
  • 3-minute long break after four short breaks (every fifth cycle)
  • Timer starts automatically when GazeOff launches

Existing v0.1.1 settings migrate to these defaults. Personal day/history data remains local and is preserved. Fresh users always start with empty statistics; no developer statistics are bundled in the executable.

GazeOff v0.1.1

@MDSD0 MDSD0 released this 18 Jun 12:34

GazeOff v0.1.1 makes first launch and feedback much clearer.

What changed

  • Added a first-run welcome window confirming GazeOff is running in the Windows tray
  • Added one-click access to Settings from the welcome window
  • Added GitHub Issues and email contact options inside the app
  • Added structured bug-report and feature-request forms on GitHub
  • Changed website buttons to download the Windows executable directly
  • Corrected the Windows security note to distinguish SmartScreen from Smart App Control

Windows security

This build is not yet code-signed. SmartScreen may offer More info → Run anyway. Windows 11 Smart App Control is different and may block unsigned apps without a per-app bypass. We do not recommend disabling system-wide protection just for GazeOff.

  • Local smart pause for meetings, fullscreen video, games, and time away
  • Blink and posture reminders with configurable sound and placement

  • Local recovery score, daily statistics, seven-day history, and session timeline

Install
