FieldScout 0.5.0 — Automatic Updates

Automatic updates

• macOS now checks a signed Sparkle feed, downloads updates, and can relaunch into the new version.
• The installed Windows app checks GitHub Releases, downloads updates in the background, and asks to restart when the update is ready.
• Update packages include cryptographic verification metadata and preserve scouting data and backups.
• The macOS download is now universal for Apple silicon and Intel.

One-time step: Versions 0.4.0 and earlier do not contain an updater, so install 0.5.0 once. Future installed releases can update themselves. On Windows, use the .exe installer; the portable .zip still requires manual replacement.
