Terrain Foundry 1.2.0
Terrain Foundry 1.2.0 — print cost estimates
- Adds Estimate print costs beside Prepare print pack in the desktop editor.
- Uses the website's current pricing calculation for PLA/PETG, A1/H2S, colour, UK delivery and optional parts discounts. Website rate/calculation changes take effect without a client rebuild while the estimate API remains compatible.
- Measures the scene's export locally, including connectors and fit-test quantities. Only part measurements, identifiers and quantities are sent; STL geometry, scene layouts and personal details are not uploaded for estimates.
- Shows the website breakdown and a clearly dated cached estimate when offline, only for an identical pack and print options. A new scene or option needs an online calculation first.
- Saves a ready-to-upload ZIP and opens the print website when requested. The user chooses whether to upload it there.
- Print requests remain test-only. No payment, printing or shipping is enabled. Estimated weight/time are not Bambu Studio slice results.
Existing OpenLOCK scenery, non-commercial licensing, sculpted detail and saved scene layouts are unchanged. Physical connector fit still requires the supplied test print. The signed launcher offers the new client as an interactive update.
Terrain Foundry 1.1.0
Terrain Foundry 1.1.0 — OpenLOCK non-commercial edition
- Restores the attributed OpenLOCK socket profile throughout all connected scenery, including the 431-piece dungeon range and 72 curved walls.
- Replaces the round Foundry Link pin in new exports with Printable Scenery OpenLOCK Clip 5.4, preserving original attribution and the full CC BY-NC 4.0 licence.
- Keeps scene layouts, stable asset IDs, sculpted detail and integrated wall/floor footings. Saved scenes use the restored sockets when opened with this release.
- Labels the editor, installer, scenery packs and print exports accurately: MIT application code, CC0 original connector-free sculpts, CC BY-NC OpenLOCK profile/derivatives/clip.
- Paid print ordering remains disabled unless separate commercial rights are obtained and verified.
Use this edition for non-commercial printing under its supplied licence terms. Preserve attribution when sharing files. Previously printed round-pin parts are a different physical system. Print the included floor/wall/clip fit test first: CAD checks do not establish physical printer tolerances or certify OpenLOCK compatibility.
The signed launcher continues to ask before installing updates. Local saved projects are preserved.
Terrain Foundry 1.0.3
Terrain Foundry 1.0.3 — simpler launcher
- Automatically checks for updates when opened, with a compact Update now / Not now offer only when needed.
- A clear Open Editor button lets you continue with the installed editor after declining an update or when offline.
- A progress bar shows downloads, unpacking and verification; Open Editor is enabled when ready.
- First installation requires explicit Install now approval. No downloads start just from opening the launcher.
- Preserves the selected installation folder, saved scenes, update verification and consent across launcher restarts.
- Reuses the verified 1.0.0 editor and 15 scenery packs.
Published by MGN CONSULTANCY LIMITED, with timestamped Windows signatures. Source is MIT; original scenery and Foundry Link are CC0. Physical connector fit remains unverified.
Terrain Foundry 1.0.2

-

-
Reuses the verified 1.0.0 editor and 15 scenery packs. Scenes and recovery files remain separate and unchanged.
Install this MSI to get the new wizard and desktop shortcut. The first client/scenery installation needs internet. An existing editor remains available offline when an update is declined or unavailable.
Published by MGN CONSULTANCY LIMITED, with timestamped Windows signatures. Source code is MIT; original scenery and Foundry Link are CC0. These licences allow personal and commercial use. Foundry Link print fit is not yet physically verified.
