BiblioFuse NAS 0.1.2 — Docker public beta

BiblioFuse NAS 0.1.2 is the first public Docker beta. Hosting the server and
using its browser library and reader are free.

Install

Use the versioned Docker and Synology Container Manager Compose templates in
this repository. They pull:

ghcr.io/mlt-solutions/bibliofuse-nas:0.1.2

Published platforms:

  • linux/amd64
  • linux/arm64

Multi-platform image digest:

sha256:994682d50c3ddfc33e2b515557f265a93b347d606b876043be9bcb792c4f8f57

The public image includes OCI provenance and SBOM attestations. An anonymous
pull using an empty Docker credential store was verified on 2026-07-19.

Included

  • Browser library and reader for CBZ, ZIP, CBR, RAR, EPUB, TXT, TEXT and
    Markdown
  • Paged and continuous comic reading
  • Friendly library folder picker
  • Full refresh plus optional daily or weekly scheduled refresh
  • Persistent account, catalog and reading progress in the mounted config folder
  • Root disable and safe root removal without deleting library files

Important limitations

  • Docker-to-released-iOS and Docker-to-released-visionOS pairing is not
    supported yet.
  • NAS reading can have brief cold-page delays. A modern Mac or PC host remains
the recommendation for the smoothest native streaming experience.
  • The native Synology .spk passed a private DS923+ x86-64 test, but the tested
build was tied to one shared-folder name and LAN configuration. It is not a
    public download.
  • Native Synology local Wi-Fi and Tailscale pairing validation is still pending.
  • A generic public .spk needs safe install-time shared-folder selection and
    another physical validation pass.

README,
Docker guide,
and
Synology Container Manager tutorial
before installation.
