BiblioFuse NAS 0.1.9

Released 2026-08-07.

Remote access to Kavita or Komga via Tailscale

  • New Settings wizard, Tailscale Serve Remote Access, walks through publishing a
Kavita or Komga server at a private HTTPS *.ts.net address using your own
Tailscale account, then generates a QR code to pair it into the BiblioFuse app's
    OPDS Add Server screen.
  • New Settings wizard, Tailscale Subnet Access, is a shorter path that advertises
your local subnet through Tailscale so Kavita or Komga can be reached at its
existing local IP address from any device on your tailnet, without configuring
    Serve.
  • Every command is generated for review; BiblioFuse never runs Tailscale commands or
stores Tailscale credentials on your behalf. QR codes are generated entirely in the
    browser.
  • See the Tailscale remote access guide for both
    walkthroughs.

This applies to the Docker image, Synology Container Manager project, and the native
Synology Package Center .spk.

Synology package

  • The DSM 7 x86-64 package is BiblioFuseNAS-0.1.0-0043-x86_64.spk.
  • Its SHA-256 checksum is published beside the package in this release.
  • Fresh-install, upgrade and uninstall were validated on a physical DS923+.

The image provides linux/amd64 and linux/arm64 manifests with provenance and SBOM
attestations.

One host method per NAS

Do not run the Docker/Container Manager host and native Synology package on the same
NAS. Both intentionally use ports 7342 and 7343; choose one host method per NAS.
