Hobgoblin v2.2.0 expands the workspace from desktop and web into Android while strengthening shared tmux, Git worktree, terminal, and notification workflows.

Highlights

Native Android client

• Add a native Android workspace for saved SSH hosts, remote repositories, projects, port forwarding, and retained terminal sessions.
• Add dedicated Terminals and tmux destinations with discovery, exact-session recovery, reconnect, close, delete, and host-switching workflows.
• Add device-local list ordering, application themes, language selection, terminal appearance controls, extra keys, and foreground terminal notifications.

Shared tmux workflows

• Introduce deterministic project-scoped tmux servers and session identities shared across desktop, web, Android, and external terminal clients.
• Add directory recovery, host-wide session inventory, verified cleanup, metadata validation, and compatibility discovery for default tmux servers.
• Improve terminal lifecycle behavior, geometry synchronization, loading states, and explicit native-versus-tmux launch controls.

Telegram notifications

• Add Telegram delivery for terminal bells and eligible output-completion events.
• Add optional terminal-screen images, independent proxy selection, configurable completion thresholds, and clearer notification metadata.

Workspaces and Git

• Expand branch workspaces with dependency-source selection, bootstrap reconciliation, drift repair, live progress, scheduled refresh, and multi-repository actions.

These release artifacts are unsigned.

• macOS: Gatekeeper may block the downloaded app. After installing, run xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Hobgoblin.app, or right-click the app, choose Open, and confirm.
• Windows: SmartScreen may warn about the unsigned installer. Continue only if you trust this GitHub Release source.
• Android: The APK is unsigned and must be signed before installation.
