SuperLAME 1.1.1 is a frontend-only correctness release. The four
CPUID-dispatched encoder engine libraries are unchanged.
Fixed
- Corrected multithreaded seam accounting when a low-bitrate MPEG-2/2.5 CBR
worker cannot fit its normal Xing/Info frame. - Preserved the corrected seam length through bit-reservoir re-encode retries,
including final-flush and post-progress cases. - Added exact single-thread/multithread coded-frame regression coverage for
CBR 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56 and 64 kbps.
Single-thread encoding is unaffected.
Validation
- Regression suite: 50/50 passed
- Codec-stress gate: 350 encodes, 0 desyncs
- Focused retry gate: 8/8 exact single-thread/multithread frame counts
- Wide low-mode gate: 910 cases, 0 failures or frame mismatches
- Objective audio gate: 132 encodes, 0 input-format mismatches
- Full-length and long-lossless controls: exact frame counts in all tested modes
- Input fuzzer: 920 cases, 0 crashes
