This hotfix addresses EPG import and navigation reports from beta 16.

• EPG import compatibility: fixes the PI must not start with xml error with XMLTV feeds that begin with a byte-order mark. Compressed feeds and declared text encodings are handled correctly too.
• Guide focus stays in the grid: paging right or left waits for the destination programmes before restoring focus, including on large playlists and empty guide pages.
• Category position is remembered: reopening the category drawer preserves its scroll position.
• Smooth background: removes the grain texture from the app background.
• Backup export uses less memory: prevents very large catalogue indexes from exhausting memory while exporting settings, while retaining customized library rules.

• One movie, one Continue Watching card: matching Discover and IPTV VOD copies are combined, including when providers add a movie after you started watching it. Your progress and viewing history are kept.
• Smoother startup and browsing: startup, movie and series progress, guide updates and metadata requests do less work on the interface thread. Guide search uses a faster indexed lookup.

• Four more sports in Sohva Sport: American football (NFL and college competitions), MMA, Formula 1 and the NBA's own feed join football, ice hockey, basketball, baseball, AFL, handball, rugby and volleyball. Every sport API-Sports offers is now selectable under Settings › Sohva Sport.
• Sports without competitions: MMA, Formula 1 and NBA have no league list, so following one shows every event of the day. Settings says so instead of listing zero competitions.
• Cards for fights, sessions and games: a fight shows both fighters and the weight class; a Formula 1 session shows the Grand Prix, the circuit and the session type, with the lap count while a race is on; NBA games show the score.

• Home, rebuilt: A fixed hero at the top of the screen describes whichever card you are on: title, episode, minutes left, synopsis and artwork for movies and episodes; the programme and its picture for a channel; the fixture and crests for a match. The rows scroll underneath on a fixed focus line.
• One Continue watching row: Library movies and episodes, positions paused on Trakt, and Discover history together, newest first, one card per series.
• Trakt sync (optional): Connect under Settings › Accounts with a code shown on the TV. What you play in Movies, Series and Discover is recorded to Trakt as it happens. Trakt's progress and watched marks show on your library and Discover cards, and a title paused on another device resumes here from that position.
• Watch next and Recommended for you: The next unwatched episode of the shows you have been watching, and Trakt's picks. A card opens the title in your library when you have it, otherwise looks it up in your Discover addons. Synopses come from TMDB in your language.
• Sport cards open the match: A match on Home opens its own card in Sohva Sport.
• New logo and Home background.

A profile that sees only its own groups, a channel dialled by number, a
channel's own logo and number, Italian, and what the owner's Shield run
found. The first beta with database version 26.

• What a profile may see. In Settings > General > Profiles, limit a
  profile to chosen groups of live TV, films and series. Its guide, libraries,
  search and playback show only those groups, on top of the device's own
  rules. With a parental PIN set, switching to an unlimited profile, and
  opening Settings from a limited one, ask for the PIN.
• Who is watching in the home page's left menu once there are two
  profiles, to change profile without Settings.
• Dial a channel. Type a number on the remote in the guide or during live
  TV; two seconds after the last digit the guide lands on that channel or the
  picture switches to it. The player's channel list shows the numbers.
• A channel's own logo and number. Channel management takes a logo
  address, or a picture chosen on the phone page, and a channel number;
  Settings > General > Channel numbers shows or hides numbers in the
  guide. Playlist and Xtream numbers are read where a provider supplies them.
• Phone QR codes for a source and for a logo open in a box of their own,
  whole at every interface size.
• Italian joins the drafted interface languages.
• Series pages say Loading episodes… in the corner while the provider
  answers, and show the cast as one line of names, so the seasons and the
  episodes stay on screen.
• Library group names can be read: the group column is wider and a long
  name takes two lines.
• Pickers, the QR box and the dial overlay sit on a solid panel instead
  of a translucent one.
• Build checks. Lint errors that had failed the public build since beta 6
  are fixed, and packaging now runs lint and requires the dex verification
  receipt.

Database version 26, up from 25, by a migration that keeps everything
already stored; a beta 11 cannot open a beta 12 database, so do not go back
without a backup. The new preferences and a channel's own logo travel in the
backup; a beta 11 reads a beta 12 backup and ignores what it does not know.

This tag points at the source the APK was built from. Future signed Sohva TV
betas can be installed over this one, or fetched from Settings. Do not
uninstall or clear app storage when updating. No playlists, subscriptions or
API keys are included.

Build passed, lint passed for every module, the unit suites passed, and a
fresh full emulator run passed 71 database and 210 UI tests on the
released source. The release build was checked against a device's own dex
verifier before packaging.

The five drafted languages await a native reading, and some labels in
Spanish, Portuguese and German are longer than the space allows. The About
notes are English whatever the interface language, and appear once the
release list has been read. These are bounded results, not a guarantee for
every device or source.
