Configurable server host + account-based authentication.

New

• Configurable server URL — set your Magio backend from the popup at runtime; no rebuild or hardcoded host. Backed by optional_host_permissions, so any host is granted on connect.
• Account onboarding in the popup — log in or sign up directly from the extension. The extension stores a per-user API token and sends it as a Bearer header on all tracking calls.
• Signed-in state — shows the connected user and server, with a sign-out action.

Requires

A Magio backend running the matching account-auth API (/api/auth/*, Bearer-protected /api/emails/*). The public tracking pixel (/api/track/*) remains unauthenticated. The hosted instance at https://magio.deepaksilaych.me is already updated.

Install

1. Download magio-extension-v0.2.0.zip and unzip.
2. Go to chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode.
3. Load unpacked → select the unzipped folder (or Reload if already installed — permissions changed, so a reload is required).
4. Open the popup, enter your server URL, and log in / sign up.

Install

4. Visit magio.deepaksilaych.me and sign in once (auth-gated by Gatehouse — cookie persists for 7 days, the extension rides it for API calls).
5. Open Gmail. The Magio eye-icon will appear next to Gmail's Send button — clicking it toggles tracking; sending injects a 1×1 pixel.
