Full Changelog: v0.1.3...v0.1.4

MacroMagi v0.1.4 Stable release!

This update fixes all the bugs I've had and improved and added bunch of helpful features.

Core and settings

  • PyTorch: the AI page now looks for Python by itself, so you no longer need the Engine tab first. When PyTorch is already found, the button says Uninstall instead of Install.
  • Save As: you can now pick .mp. That saves the selected blocks, or the whole workspace if nothing is selected. On the Auto Clicker tab it saves the clicker settings.
  • Export presets, sits above Export. It offers “Current macro workspace” (the default), “Only selection”, then each of your presets.
  • Presets menu: the “(in this file)” entries are gone because would be redundant.

Macro

  • Switch to Window: the program list stays open while you type in its search box, and shows programs with windows first.
  • Searchable drop-downs: most drop-down now has a search box, including the Stop block’s Continue from.
  • Auto Typer: a list of characters to leave out, with quick buttons for Space, Line break and Tab.
  • Skip task switches: a new option under “Skip the pause before the first input”, off by default. Hovering shows toggles for First, Last and - In between task switches. A task switch is Alt+Tab, Win+Tab, or a click right after the pointer moves to another display. It’s also on the Recording settings page.
  • Smart recording: a Smart recording now gets the same conversion as the editor’s Smart button when it finishes. Before, only a partial version ran, which is why pressing Smart still changed things.
  • Recording editor: you can add Move and Look rows. Move rows have small crosshair buttons to pick the start or end point on screen.
Deleting recordings: the Play Recording drop-down has a bin beside each recording. Recordings no block plays are deleted when you save; that’s on by default and can be turned off in Settings › Recording and Options › Behaviours.

New blocks

  • Switch to Display: moves the pointer to the middle of a display, and can click there so that window gets the keyboard.
  • Current Window: the title and program of the window in front, the display it’s on, the display the pointer is on, and its middle.
  • Screenshot: captures the display the pointer is on, a chosen display, or an area. The picture only exists while the macro runs, unless you save it with Write to File.
  • Read File: all the text, one line, or a picture.
  • Write to File: set the file, add to the end, or change one line. A picture is saved as a PNG, replacing one with the same name. Missing folders are made.
  • Find in Text: finds a word in text (say, from Read File) and gives the line number, that line, and how many lines contain it.
  • Folder Contents and Make Folder for working with folders.
  • Image Detection has a new Picture input. A picture from Screenshot or Read File wired in is looked for instead of the block’s list.

MacroMagi v0.1.0

@uvxszi uvxszi released this 15 Oct 06:53

Initial release.

Some issues:

  • Panel sizing is annoying and auto resizes itself
  • Custom key binds aren't being assigned/detected yet

Working on those fixes + many new features and quality of life improvements.

Linux and MacOS support is very limited from my side, I will try it on cachyos on a laptop for testing, however I would require mac os contributors since I don't own a mac.

*Windows will detect it as dangerous because no publisher listed, I will figure out how to get it into trusted status when it's in a more stable state.
