DKCR AP PopTracker Package (v0.3.1)

Changelog

• Fixed bug with the Smog Clear and Lift-off Launch Required settings where World 7 and 8 would be in logic until you clear 7-1 and/or 7-R, which would then unintentionally put those worlds back out of logic.
• Added auto-tracking for Factory Buttons which was accidentally left out of the previous release.
• Small fix for enabling Mirror Mode but setting Mirror Shards to 0. The "Mirror Mode" item still uses the Mirror Shards on the tracker, but is treated as just a single shard to unlock the mode.

• Removed "KONG Letter Set" checks from K Levels as they shouldn't have been there.
• Fixed the "Puzzle Piece Boss Access" setting giving wrong values if you connect to a room more than once without reloading the pack.
• Adjusted the KONG Letter icons for better visibility.
• Fully implemented logic for the Puzzle Piece Boss Access setting. Previously, all worlds would show as accessible regardless of if you couldn't progress past any certain boss because of this setting. Now, all worlds past that boss you cannot currently access will show as inaccessible. Fixing this also fixes the world bar at the top which shows accessible checks in all worlds.

• Fixed auto-tracking for several locations.

  • Important note! This change to the APWorld means that auto-tracking will NOT work for multiworlds generated with v0.0.1 of the APWorld, and all previous versions of this pack will not work with multiworlds generated with v0.0.2 of the APWorld.
• Implemented the Puzzle Piece Boss Access option. This setting will set itself up automatically when connecting to a multiworld, or it can be manually adjusted in the settings menu.
  • Another important note! Since the APWorld does not currently patch the game, this option does not prevent you from defeating each boss early. These requirements will need to be manually enforced by the player in order to stay in logic. The tracker reflects what is logically accessible according to the APWorld, not what is actually accessible in-game. This is why you may see a red square on a Boss level when in-game, you're able to defeat the boss just fine.
• Added functionality to the World Progress bar above the maps. The diamonds on each world icon now turn green when any KONG Letters or Level Completion checks available anywhere in that world, which should help players easily see where they have accessible checks instead of having to click through each world. (This feature may not be crazy helpful at the moment, but in later APWorld updates where more options that allow for bouncing between worlds are added in, this should be very helpful!) Puzzle Pieces are not yet implemented but will be soon!

DKCR AP PopTracker Package (v0.1.0)

This is the PopTracker package designed to work with the Donkey Kong Country Returns APWorld v0.0.1. The logic in this pack is based on the original 2010 release of the game on the Nintendo Wii, so if used for any other version of the game, it may have logic inaccuracies. This version of the pack was built for the v0.35.3 release of PopTracker. (It should still work with later versions.) You can install the PopTracker program here.

Installation

Download and place the folder containing all of the pack files (named "dkcr_poptracker_v0.1.0") into the "packs" folder of your PopTracker installation. It may be either a zipped or unzipped folder, but make sure there aren't two layers of folders to get to the core files. If you have any issues, ping @MagicMason1000 in the Archipelago Discord server.
