@github-actions github-actions released this 15 Oct 23:03

TinyFreaky by MagicStino brings expressive eight-voice synthesis to Akai Force and MPC via OpenPlugin, plus Windows, macOS and Linux.

Explore the sound

16 engines span detuned waves, wavetable and additive textures, plucked strings, virtual analog, waveshaping, FM, formants, chords, speech, modal resonance, noise and bass. Shape them with the 5×7 modulation matrix, arpeggiator with rate/swing, and 64-step sequencer.

New in 0.4.0

The factory bank now has sound-informed TinyFreaky names: Mouth Pop, Arp Bent Bark, Static Rise, Bass Drool and more. Names reflect engine character, envelopes and movement. All 342 playable slots retain their sound settings and slot IDs, so existing saved projects keep their sound. The 114 unavailable slots are labelled clearly.

Validation and compatibility

Platform builds passed automated checks, including the Steinberg VST3 validator, Apple auval, engine/voice regression checks and the Force VST2 host contract. Local before/after checks confirm identical saved state and C4 audio across all 456 slots. Physical-device confirmation of 0.4.0 remains pending.

macOS builds are ad-hoc signed, not Apple-notarized. Preset translation is approximate; six engine families and full sequence/sample payload support remain unavailable. See OpenPlugin for supported MPC device and firmware versions. Required third-party licenses and credits are included.
