Highlights

  • In-app stable updates. DepotTools checks for stable updates at startup and, optionally, hourly. Updates download and install only after an explicit user action; the persistent Settings banner remains available after a skipped prompt.
  • Complete Add-page game metadata. Search selections, featured cards, protocol installs, and plugin adds now resolve their banner, genres, type, and release date directly from Steam app details.

Fixes and reliability

  • Removed the partial DepotBox game-detail path that caused selected games to show only their name and AppID.
  • Added a rolling DepotTools Nightly prerelease from development and documented the stable/nightly release process.
