What's new

Notes
Save text and links straight into your drive. A Markdown editor with a formatting toolbar, custom titles with a sensible fallback, and share-to-TeleDrive from any app. Markdown renders properly when you read a note back, nesting included. Links show an article preview with an image when there is one, or a plain open button when there is not. Notes are covered by encryption like every other file.

Update checks
TeleDrive now tells you when a new release is out. It checks once a day in the background and posts a notification you can dismiss with Skip this version, which stays quiet until the next release. Manual checks are available any time in About.

Improved

• Rename, move, trash and favorite apply instantly. Telegram is updated in the background through a durable queue, so a folder rename covering hundreds of files no longer blocks the app, and a change made while offline is never silently reverted
• Rebuilding the index now clears files deleted from the channel even when encrypted files are locked, and reports how many were removed
• Mobile data is allowed by default, and the two network settings now read the same way and say what each one covers
• Onboarding reports a reached channel limit instead of waiting forever
• Renaming a drive no longer puts the TeleDrive prefix in the field

Fixed

• Uploads that sat at 0 bytes with no progress, no error and no completion. Telegram updates were subscribed to after the message was sent, so a fast upload could finish before anything was listening and the transfer hung forever
• Transfers stuck on "waiting" after changing the Wi-Fi only setting. The queued work kept the network rule it was scheduled with, so allowing mobile data changed nothing until app data was cleared
• A transfer that stalls now fails with a real error and retries, instead of hanging with the notification pinned
• Interrupted permanent deletes leaving files listed in the app after the message was already gone from Telegram
• A storage channel deleted from Telegram is now detected, with a switch to another drive
• Deleting your only drive is blocked instead of leaving the app with nowhere to store

TeleDrive backs up and browses your files using a private Telegram channel as storage. Your account, your channel, your files.

Note: you need your own Telegram API credentials, free from my.telegram.org under API development tools. If you enable encryption, the passphrase cannot be reset. Keep it safe.
