The APK is for 64-bit ARM phones (arm64-v8a) with Android 12 (API 31) or newer. On first use the app downloads its speech models on Wi-Fi; see Model credits for their licenses.

This build uses the same key as the earlier private aight builds, so it installs over aight 0.9.0 and keeps its settings and downloaded voices.

First public release

dudan brings your own Hermes agent to Android. You need a Hermes API server of your own and Tailscale between the phone and the server; the setup guide walks through both.

• Side-button assistant. Hold the side button to ask a question over any app. Speech recognition runs on the phone (Orukeet), and replies are read aloud by Kokoro in English and Supertonic 3 in Dutch. Ask about screen adds a screenshot to the question.
• Rich replies. Tables, charts, steps, tabs and forms, drawn natively from OpenUI blocks. Tap a chart to read its values or a suggestion to keep going.
• Files up to 250 MB. Attach up to eight per message. They go to a small upload service next to Hermes, and uploads resume after a dropped connection.
• Phone control. Hermes can open apps and links, set timers and alarms, and control media on the phone, from any Hermes channel.
• Work you can follow. See the agent's steps, answer approval requests before risky commands, and let runs finish on the server when your connection drops.
• Models and looks. Pick the model, thinking level and fast mode, with separate defaults for chats and the overlay. Six backgrounds, eight accent colors, and a two-pane layout on foldables.
