ScanIt v1.0.0 Preview 1

First public preview of ScanIt: a simple Android document scanner that opens directly to the camera and makes the finished PDF easy to share.

• Crop, perspective correction, rotation, enhancement, and document filters.
• Single-page and multi-page PDF/JPEG output.
• Automatic PDF saving on by default; optional share-only temporary PDF.
• Gallery saving, selectable PDF folder, Android Sharesheet, and printing.
• Monochrome UI with System default, English, and Czech language choices.
• Optional experimental Gemini cleanup under Advanced settings.
• No account, ads, subscription, or first-party analytics.

Requirements

• Android 15 or newer.
• Google Play services.
• At least 1.7 GB total device RAM.

Preview warning

This APK is debug-signed for sideload testing. It is not the future production-signed Google Play build. A production-signed APK cannot update this preview in place; uninstalling it first removes app-private settings, the saved API key, and temporary cache. Files saved to Gallery, Downloads, or a selected folder remain.

The optional Gemini workflow is implemented but has not been live-tested with an API key. Android 17 is not device-tested yet.
