Major Improvements
Downloads
- Optimised the download pipeline: larger transfer buffers and progress bookkeeping moved off the network path.
- Active download cards now show live download speed, for both Jellyfin and Audiobookshelf downloads.
- Redesigned active download cards: pause/cancel actions sit beside the title, with a cleaner status and size line under the progress bar.
- Rich download notifications: media title with poster or cover art, contextual details (series and episode, album, author, podcast), and progress shown as percent and size. Expanding a movie or episode notification shows its backdrop.
- Pause and cancel directly from the notification.
- Notifications are grouped: active downloads collapse under one summary, finished downloads under another. Completed and failed downloads now post a notification.
- Tapping any download notification opens the Downloads screen.
- Fixed notification progress bars breaking on files larger than 2 GB.
- Fixed cancelling a download, occasionally leaving a stalled phantom entry in the Downloads screen.
Navigation Drawer
- Optional navigation drawer (Material 3 expressive wide rail) as an alternative to the bottom bar, with an account switcher and optional library shortcuts.
- Improved navigation stability and state management when switching destinations.
- Standardised screen padding and display cutout handling across screens.
Jellyseerr
- Requests support the Blocklisted status, with reworked request filtering.
- Login now supports Jellyfin authentication with an optional password.
Audiobookshelf
- Chapters now display for podcast playlists in the player.
UI & Minor Updates
- Refined navigation drawer header dimensions and menu styling.
- Centralised home navigation logic in the top app bar.
