This a beta firmware update only for the original Project Stellar.
Release Notes
StellarOS 2.0.0 is a massive rewrite of the 1.x.x firmware series, laying the foundation for the next generation of Stellar.
This release includes extensive fixes and improvements across the entire system, adds support for BlueRetro and the new Wireless Upgrade, and introduces a new online update system to make future firmware updates easier and more seamless.
Notice
WiFi, SD Card, USB Controller Drivers, and NetISO have been disabled in this stable release. Please use the latest 2.0.x beta release once the new download server is online.
An offline XBE updater will provided at a future date.
Important
Updating to StellarOS 2.x.x will permanently raise the minimum supported firmware version for your Stellar device to 1.9.x. Once updated, downgrading to any firmware version older than 1.9.x will no longer be possible.
Changelog
- Fixed an issue affecting some original Project Stellar boards caused by a change in GOWIN’s FPGA toolchain.
- Updated the FPGA constraints to explicitly apply the required fast slew-rate settings for the LPC and SDRAM interfaces.
