UNDP SDG 9: Industrialization, Innovation, and Infrastructure

The UNDP SDG 9, Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, focuses on enabling people all over the world and allowing populations from developed and developing nations alike to have access to adequate industrialization, infrastructure, and facilities that foster innovation. Over 4 billion people worldwide don't have access to the internet, with 90% of them being from developing nations. Bridging the global digital divide is crucial to development and sustainability ecologically, environmentally, and sociologically. The first step of development is safety, and safety is exactly what RideSight ensures. Industrialization relies on occupation and capital. A majority of quick commerce occupations in India rely on bikes. When going to new places, bikers often refer to navigation applications to find their way. These navigation instructions often obstruct them from giving their full attention to the road, causing accidents. Without being able to even do their job with a guarantee of safety, we put the very community that drives industrialization at risk. RideSight aims to fix exactly that. We bridge the gap in infrastructure with innovation, and thus let industrialization blossom, which is exactly what UNDP SDG 9 stands for and protects.
