New Features:

  • Cross-Platform Tool Installation: FFmpeg, yt-dlp, and the PO-Token-Provider setup now have automatic install paths outside Windows.
  • Linux Package Manager Detection: Linux installs now detect apt-get, dnf, pacman, or zypper and use the matching package manager for supported tools.
  • macOS Homebrew Support: macOS installs now use Homebrew for FFmpeg, yt-dlp, Node.js, curl, and Python when needed.
  • Linux/macOS PO-Token Provider Setup: Added a shell-based PO-Token-Provider setup flow for Linux and macOS, including plugin download, provider source setup, npm install, and TypeScript build.

Bug Fixes & UX Improvements:

  • Stable Parallel Download UI: SoundSync still downloads up to 3 tracks at the same time, but the UI no longer jumps between active tracks on every progress update.
  • Multiple Active Track Cards: Parallel downloads can now stay highlighted at the same time in the downloaded track list.
  • Better Total Progress Calculation: The total progress bar now uses all active parallel downloads instead of only the latest progress event.
  • Linux/macOS Filename Handling: yt-dlp now only receives --windows-filenames on Windows, so Linux/macOS downloads no longer use unnecessary Windows filename restrictions.

Internal:

  • Per-Track Progress Tracking: Added internal progress tracking per active download so parallel jobs can be represented correctly.
  • Platform-Aware Installer Helpers: Added reusable installer helpers for Linux/macOS command detection and shell execution.
  • Windows-Only yt-dlp Filename Flag: Moved --windows-filenames behind a Windows-only platform guard.
  • Unified Version Bump: Synchronized all package version tags to 2.3.14 across package.json, tauri.conf.json, Cargo.toml, Cargo.lock, and the visible app UI.
