New Features:

  • Download Pause & Resume: Added a dedicated Pause/Resume control next to the main download actions so active downloads can be temporarily stopped and continued later.
  • Real Process Suspension: Pause now suspends the running download process tree instead of only changing the UI state.
  • Cross-Platform Resume Support: Resume support is wired for Windows, Linux, and macOS using platform-specific process controls.
  • Persistent Clipboard Queue: The Sammelkorb now saves and restores queued links across app restarts.
  • Queue Search & Sorting: Added a Sammelkorb search field and sorting by name, source, added date, and status for large playlists.
  • Remote Queue View: SoundSync Remote can now display the current Sammelkorb on mobile through a new queue endpoint.
  • Queue Retry Flow: Added a retry action for failed queue items so broken downloads can be attempted again without rebuilding the queue.

Bug Fixes & UI/UX Improvements:

  • Pause/Resume Button State: The new action button switches between Pausieren and Fortsetzen and updates its icon based on the current download state.
  • Localized Pause Logs: Pause and resume status messages are translated in German, English, and Polish.
  • Cancel Reset Safety: Cancelling a download now also clears the paused state so the next download starts normally.
  • Better Duplicate Handling: Duplicate queue links now offer skip, replace, or add-anyway behavior instead of silently ignoring the link.
  • Queue Source Badges: Queue entries now show source badges for YouTube, SoundCloud, Spotify, Apple Music, and other supported links.
  • Queue Status Badges: Queue entries now show whether they are queued, downloading, completed, or failed.

Internal:

  • New Download State Flag: Added a backend pause flag to the shared app state.
  • New Tauri Commands: Added pause_download and resume_download commands and registered them in the Tauri invoke handler.
  • Platform Process Controls: Windows uses PowerShell Suspend-Process/Resume-Process; Linux and macOS use SIGSTOP/SIGCONT.
  • Remote Queue State: Added shared backend queue state and an update_remote_queue command so the frontend can mirror the Sammelkorb to the Remote server.
  • Queue API Endpoint: Added /queue to the Remote server for mobile queue visibility.
  • Queue Data Model Expansion: Queue items now track IDs, source type, status, and creation time.
  • Unified Version Bump: Synchronized all project version identifiers to 2.3.16 across metadata, configs, Cargo, package lock, and UI badges.
