New Features:

  • First-Start Onboarding: Added a one-time setup modal that guides new users through choosing a download folder, running the system check, and understanding the Sammelkorb workflow.
  • Tray Download Controls: Added native tray menu actions for Pause/Resume and Cancel so active downloads can be controlled while the main window is hidden.
  • Live Tray Status: The tray tooltip now follows the current app status, such as ready, downloading, paused, cancelled, or failed.

Bug Fixes & UX Improvements:

  • Actionable Error Panel: Download and conversion errors now show a visible helper panel with quick actions for System Check, Cookies, Retry, and Close.
  • Retry Last Failed Action: The new error panel can restart the last failed download or conversion without rebuilding the input manually.
  • No Mini Mode: Removed the experimental Mini Mode again so the header stays clean and the normal layout remains consistent.
  • Localized UX Text: Added German, English, and Polish strings for onboarding and the new error actions.

Internal:

  • Shared Folder Picker Flow: Reused one download-folder picker helper for the normal browse button and onboarding setup.
  • Tray Event Bridge: Tray menu actions now emit frontend events so existing Pause/Resume and Cancel logic stays centralized.
  • Tray Status Command: Added a backend command so the frontend can keep the native tray tooltip in sync.
  • Unified Version Bump: Synchronized all project version identifiers to 2.3.18 across package metadata, Tauri config, Cargo files, package lock, and visible UI badges.
