OpenShelf 1.0.1
New
- Show Shelves in the menu-bar menu brings every shelf to the front and
slides out any that are tucked at a screen edge. Open shelves are also listed
by name, so you can jump to one. A shelf you asked to see stays out until
your pointer has been over it.
Fixed
- Shelves couldn't be moved. Drag a shelf by its top bar again to move it or
dock it at a screen edge.
Install
- Download OpenShelf-1.0.1.dmg below, open it and drag OpenShelf onto Applications.
- Open OpenShelf from Applications. It lives in the menu bar (the wheel icon).
- OpenShelf isn't notarized by Apple yet, so macOS asks once on first launch:
- macOS 15 and later: click Done, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down and click Open Anyway.
- macOS 14: right-click the app → Open → Open.
- Or run
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/OpenShelf.app
Requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later, on Apple silicon or Intel. See the README for how to use it.
