Optional OpenCode V2 capability negotiation is now available with direct /api/info ServerInfo validation, documented location[directory] queries, direct interrupt-shape validation, and fail-closed malformed responses. Legacy /global/health remains preferred. The live OpenCode 1.18.30 deployment remains on the verified legacy contract; V2 end-to-end compatibility is not claimed. Agent Substrate and Google AX compatibility are not claimed. Verification: 478 tests passed, 8 skipped; live health/readiness and MCP boundary checks passed; a paid OpenCode Go worker smoke completed, was independently verified, and was cleaned up. The free provider currently reports its quota exhausted, so paid use remains explicit.
