What's new

  • App icon everywhere — the Omega mark (violet ring + dot) now ships on the installer, exe, taskbar and window. No more default Electron icon.
  • Windows taskbar identity — an AppUserModelID matches the installer appId, so running windows, pinned shortcuts and installs group as one app.
  • CI-built installers — releases are now built automatically by GitHub Actions for Windows, macOS and Linux on every tag push.

Download

  • Windows (x64): omega-0.1.1-setup.exe (attached automatically once CI finishes)
  • macOS (.dmg, arm64), Linux (.AppImage, .deb) are attached by the same CI run.

The installer is unsigned — Windows SmartScreen may show a warning. Choose More info → Run anyway.

Changes since v0.1.0

  • Add app icon for installer and executable (dependency-free generator, npm run icons)
  • Set BrowserWindow icon and Windows AppUserModelID at runtime
  • Add release workflow to build and attach installers on tag push
  • Add dark/light theme toggle, UI polish and docs (shipped late to v0.1.0)
