What's new

Downloads

  • Full download manager: files save to your Downloads folder automatically, with live progress, cancel, open, show-in-folder, and clear-finished — on the new Downloads page (Ctrl+J) with a live badge on the toolbar

Extensions

  • Load unpacked extension folders (uBlock Origin Lite, Dark Reader, Bitwarden, etc. from source), enable/disable, and remove — persisted across relaunches on the Extensions page (Ctrl+Shift+X)

Windows

  • Open in New Window — right-click a tab to pop the page out into its own window on the same session (cookies, ad-block, downloads all carry over)
  • Move to Tab Strip — right-click a detached window to move the page back into the main window as a tab

Fixes

  • Tab right-click no longer instantly closes all other tabs — a proper context menu (Duplicate, Mute, Close, Close Others) replaced the accident
  • New tab search works again: the page CSP was blocking form submits to the internal search redirect
  • The app no longer closes itself: removed the renderer heap cap that starved pages, the browser process survives exceptions, and a crashed UI reloads instead of going blank
  • Settings changes (theme, ad-block) now apply instantly across all open surfaces
  • Discarded tabs come back with their mute state and zoom level intact
  • Downloads page updates live instead of showing stale progress
