Download and install

Download SmartTeleprompter-1.3.0-macOS-arm64.zip below, unzip, and drag 智能提词器.app to Applications. Requires Apple Silicon (M-series) and macOS 26+. No source checkout, Homebrew, or separate Node installation is needed.

What changed

• Bundled front end, local server, official Node.js 24.21.0, and Apple SpeechAnalyzer helper.
• Scripts, caches and logs live in the user Application Support folder.
• Optional Jev API key setup in the application menu, stored in macOS Keychain.
• Backend instance checks prevent connecting to an older running server.
• Editor controls wrap so Start remains visible with long English labels.
• Preserves bilingual voice-following, five display levels, formulas and Keynote/PowerPoint linking.

Verification

On the verification Apple Silicon Mac, 132 regression tests, 73 tracker stress tests, and real HTTP/SSE tests passed. Linux functional CI passed; the separate Apple Silicon performance CI job was still queued at publication. The extracted app was tested after relocation with a read-only bundle and no external Node path: startup, script persistence and recognizer enumeration passed. Native title and configuration menus were checked.

Preview limitations

This is an ad-hoc signed public preview, not Apple-notarized. macOS may require first-launch approval in Privacy & Security. Verify the ZIP against SHA256SUMS.txt. Apple speech models may require an initial download. No API key or private scripts are included. Jev is optional and may incur charges with your own key.

Real noisy-room microphone use, fullscreen dual-display Keynote, physical clickers, PowerPoint, Jev accuracy/latency and second-Mac acceptance remain pending. The key dialog was not tested by saving a new credential. See README, PRIVACY.md, docs/VALIDATION.md and HANDOFF.md for details.
