Version 3 takes a new approach of using Media Extensions that add support to AVFoundation for non-native file formats and video codecs instead of using QuickLook extensions.
(Long-time Mac users may remember Perian which performed a similar function with the QuickTime framework before QuickTime was replaced by AVFoundation).

- New "View Contact Sheet" entry in Finder's Services menu which provides a QuickLook Video v2-style static preview.
- Use CoreAudio codecs when possible for more power-efficient audio decode.
Requires macOS 26 "Tahoe" or later.
