What changed

• Adds physically verified real-radio soft-power off, heartbeat-only standby, and wake behavior.
• Recognizes both observed f5/05/03 power-transition prompts and sends the verified two-frame acknowledgement.
• Projects standby correctly to applications: blank display, status LED off, ordinary controls/PTT disabled, and Power retained.
• Decodes embedded primary-display decimal points while preserving the seven-bit character.
• Documents and regression-tests the physically verified BATT 13.7V display plus uppercase B and V geometry.

Verification

• Hosted CI passed on commit 36104cc032059b7eba3779fdd1a241f4d8a6e489.
• 199 tests plus 5 subtests passed from clean wheel and source-archive installations.
• Public-tree and distribution audits found no captures, recordings, codeplugs, credentials, private identifiers, or generated laboratory evidence.
• Hardware acceptance passed ordinary codeplug-enabled keys, display/indicators, RX/TX audio, PTT, volume 0–32, and Power off/standby/wake.

Remaining v1 physical gates

This prerelease is not final 1.0.0. The remaining gates are ten restart/reconnect/PoE cycles per physical endpoint role, a 30-minute idle/active soak per role, and synchronized median/p95/maximum latency measurements with confirmation of no stale audio, post-stop RTP, or stuck PTT.
