v1.0.0-alpha: Initial Release

This is the first alpha release of git-manager, a command-line tool to easily switch between different Git user configurations.

Features:

  • Add Profiles: Add new Git user profiles (name and email) with a unique profile name (git-manager add --profile <name> --name <user.name> --email <user.email>).
  • List Profiles: List all saved profiles, highlighting the currently active one (git-manager list).
  • Switch Profiles: Set the active Git profile globally (git-manager use <profile_name>). This updates the global user.name and user.email Git configuration.
  • Cross-Platform: Builds are provided for Linux, macOS, and Windows (amd64).

Alpha Notice:

This is an early alpha release. While basic functionality is implemented, expect potential bugs or changes in future versions. Please report any issues you encounter.

Installation:

Download the appropriate binary for your operating system from the assets below, rename it to git-manager (or git-manager.exe on Windows), make it executable (on Linux/macOS), and place it in a directory included in your system's PATH.
