Initial stable release of aindy-runtime as a standalone, self-hostable Python package.
Core runtime
-
SyscallDispatcherwith schema validation, capability enforcement, tenant isolation, andEXACTLY_ONCEidempotency gate viaEffectRecord - DAG flow engine with WAIT/RESUME semantics, three-lane priority scheduler, and crash-safe rehydration on restart
- Structured agent runtime — pending_approval → approved → executing loop with scoped capability tokens, trigger evaluation, and multi-agent coordination
- Persistent vector memory —
MemoryNodewith pgvector (1536-dim), hybrid retrieval, and background embedding pipeline - Plugin registry — 18 registration categories (routers, flows, jobs, syscalls, capabilities, tools, event handlers, startup hooks, enrichment providers)
- Platform operator UI — SPA served at
/platform(flows, agents, scheduler, memory)
Deployment
- Four deployment profiles:
single-instance,distributed-api,distributed-worker,hostile-third-party(experimental) - Docker Compose with optional profiles:
full(+ worker),monitoring(+ Prometheus),proxy(+ nginx TLS) - Runtime-only boot mode (
AINDY_BOOT_MODE=runtime-only) for platform-only deployment without app plugins
Observability
- Prometheus metrics at
/metrics - OpenTelemetry distributed tracing (optional OTLP exporter)
-
/health,/health/deep,/readyendpoints with structured condition codes - Scheduler status, stuck-run watchdog stats, and domain health endpoints
Security
- JWT auth with scoped Platform API keys
- Grant-only admin bootstrap via env var or CLI
- Syscall capability enforcement
- C2 container-grade and C3 strong-sandbox VM extension sandbox tiers
- 17-test sandbox escape suite
Stable public surfaces
- Syscall contract:
sys.v1.memory.*,sys.v1.flow.*,sys.v1.event.*,sys.v1.nodus.execute,sys.v1.job.submit,sys.v1.llm.complete - HTTP:
/health,/ready,/api/version,/auth/*,/platform/keys,/platform/syscalls,/platform/observability/scheduler/status - Operator condition codes:
AINDY/kernel/condition_codes.py
aindy-runtime was extracted from the former monolith as its own independently
versioned package. Domain apps (aindy-apps-monolith), the Python SDK (aindy-sdk),
and the UI kit (@aindy/ui-kit) are separate packages that build on this runtime.
