Ok. But with the backslash, it appears in Django. So something additional is needed somewhere.

I reformulate the changes following the pattern used in

and other similar uses. Maybe we should adjust Mathics-Django eventually.

Ok. Mathics3/mathics-django#235 was added to note the breakage caused by the change in $ handling here.

Some missing characters ASCII in LaTeX conversions. Together with #1621,
the documentation is built without critical errors.
Unicode tables does not load these conversions, because the original
characters are ASCII. Since it is a very small set, it seems OK to be
hard-coded.
