Release notes

This release adds an experimental Neovim insert mode to godotdev.nvim-node-copy.

Until now, the addon only copied node snippets to the clipboard for manual paste. It can now also send generated snippets directly
to the current cursor position in an active Neovim buffer through the Neovim editor server. This is intended for workflows where the
target script is already open in Neovim, especially when inserting multiple node references into the same file.

The existing clipboard workflow remains the default and is unchanged.

Changelog

  • Added optional neovim_remote output mode for direct insertion into the active Neovim buffer
  • Kept clipboard output as the default behavior
  • Added descriptive Project Settings for output mode, Neovim executable, server address, and clipboard fallback
  • Added clipboard fallback when remote insertion fails
  • Updated addon docs to describe the new workflow and mark direct insertion as experimental
  • Aligned default Neovim server address references with godotdev.nvim (/tmp/godot.nvim on macOS/Linux, \\.\pipe\godot.nvim on Windows)
  • Updated addon metadata author to Mathijs Bakker
