v0.7 — Polyphony, Plugin, 58 Presets, Clip Capture
What's new in v0.7
Multi-layer polyphony
Run up to 3 independent attractor systems simultaneously. Layer 0 is your main system. Layers 1–2 each pick any preset from the 58-preset library with independent level, pan, mute, and ADSR. All three feed into one shared effects chain.
Velocity-sensitive ADSR envelopes
Every voice now has a full attack/decay/sustain/release envelope triggered by arpeggiator steps and Karplus-Strong events. Louder attractor hits = faster attack, longer release. Controls are in the new MIXER tab.
MIXER tab
- VU meters for all 3 layers + master bus (color-coded green/orange/red by headroom)
- Per-layer level, pan, mute
- Audio sidechain input — route mic/line-in to modulate speed, reverb, filter cutoff, Lorenz σ, or volume in real time
📸 Save Clip — one-click content creation
Captures the last 60 seconds of audio as a WAV + a 512×512 phase portrait PNG, both saved to a clips/ folder. One click, share-ready.
VST3 / CLAP plugin
Math Sonify is now a DAW instrument. 17 automatable parameters, full MIDI note-on/off with velocity-sensitive envelopes. Load it in Ableton, FL Studio, Reaper, or any VST3/CLAP host.
Install: Extract MathSonify.vst3.zip → copy MathSonify.vst3 to C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\ → rescan in your DAW.
58 presets
Up from 11. Techno, Ambient, Jazz, Glitch, Cinematic, Bass/Sub, Lead/Melody, Drone, Arpeggio, and Hybrid categories. Each tuned for immediate usable sounds.
Generate Song (Arrange tab)
Pick a mood (Ambient / Rhythmic / Experimental) and click Generate. Creates a 5-scene arrangement where morphs (25–35s) are longer than holds (15–22s) — the transitions between attractors are the musical events.
