ffmpeg 8.1 sidecar
Pre-releaseThis is not a Max Video Player release. It holds copies of other people's ffmpeg builds, and there's nothing here to install.
The desktop app runs a bundled ffmpeg for downloads and recordings. scripts/fetch-ffmpeg.sh fetches it for CI and local builds. It tries the files here first and the builder's own copy second, and it only uses an archive whose SHA-256 matches the one pinned in the script. The copies here keep builds working if a builder deletes or replaces a file.
Each archive is the builder's file, unmodified.
The app stays on ffmpeg 8.1 for now. ffmpeg 9.0 checks TLS certificates by default, and the HLS demuxer doesn't pass the option that turns the check off on to the requests for playlists and segments, so some streams that play couldn't be downloaded. docs/development.md has the details.
