GR Mod 0.8.5

GR III / GR IIIx 加入：GR IV 和 GR III 合并成一个软件

• 机型里新增 GR III、GR III HDF、GR IIIx、GR IIIx HDF，固件分别是 GR III 2.10、GR IIIx 1.60（普通版和 HDF 用同一个官方固件）。
• GR III / IIIx 可以：
  • 新增长宽比（在相机 ADJ 里切换，RAW 保留完整画面）；
  • 新增最多 20 款胶片，每款有自己的参数，光晕在相机里调；
  • ADJ 柔焦、时间戳、结束画面图片、影像控制菜单顺序与隐藏。
• 新增的胶片在照片、视频、RAW 机内显像里都能选。
• 界面和 GR IV 一样。长宽比和新增胶片默认都不加，需要时自己加。
• 请不要把相机升级到 GR III 2.20 / GR IIIx 1.70：那是另一个程序，GR Mod 不支持，升级后也回不到 2.10 / 1.60。

GR IV：直闪模式

• 闪光模式多一项「直闪模式」：固定功率闪光，按对焦距离和 GN 定曝光。
• 在相机「闪光模式 › 直闪设置」里设：闪光指数（GN 2–36）、背景亮度（-0.3 到 -5.0 EV）、最低快门速度、曝光优先级、最高快门速度。
• 曝光优先级有两项：「标准」按背景亮度定快门；「同步上限优先」只要主体还能正好曝光，快门就用到最高快门速度，背景尽量压暗。
• 最高快门速度：同步上限（默认，相机自己的 1/2500–1/4000）、1/2000、1/1000、1/500、1/250。功率大的闪光灯全光输出时闪光时间比高速快门长（例如神牛 iT32 全光约 1/1000 秒），用高速快门会欠曝，这时把最高快门调到 1/500 左右；理光 GF-2 用同步上限即可。
• 闪光和环境光一起算；光圈 f/16、ISO 最低还过亮时，快门会提高，但最多比背景亮度需要的快 2 档，不会跳到同步上限。
• 相机的曝光补偿也作用到闪光：补偿 +1，人物和背景一起亮 1 档。
• 在软件「影像控制」页的开关里打开。

GR IV：0.8.4 的改动（0.8.3 之后）

• 影像控制新增「菜单顺序」视图：拖动或用箭头调整相机影像控制菜单的顺序，眼睛图标可隐藏不常用的风格；正在用的风格被隐藏时相机会改用标准。
• 时间戳的样式新增两种：日期后面加上影像控制的名称。
• 预设拟合改进：采样更多中性色和色域边角的颜色。

其它

• 切换机型时不再重新下载固件：每台相机的官方固件下载或打开一次后会保存，切回来直接读取。
• GR III / IIIx 的「在线下载」和 GR IV 一样，会显示官网的新版本（标为暂不支持）和本软件使用的版本。

注意

• 0.8.x 的软件可以在软件里在线更新到 0.8.5。原来下载过的 GR IV 官方固件会继续保留，不需要重新下载。
• GR IV 仍然用 1.11 固件，请不要把相机升级到 1.20。
• 不开直闪模式时，GR IV 的固件和 0.8.4 测试版生成的完全相同。

Mac 版

GRMod-0.8.5-mac.zip，支持：

• Intel 芯片：macOS 10.13 及以上；
• Apple 芯片：macOS 11 及以上。

解压后把 GR Mod 拖到「应用程序」。第一次打开如果被系统拦下，在「系统设置 → 隐私与安全性」里点「仍要打开」。

GR III / GR IIIx join: one program for GR IV and GR III

• New models: GR III, GR III HDF, GR IIIx, GR IIIx HDF, on firmware GR III 2.10 and GR IIIx 1.60 (the standard and HDF editions use the same official firmware).
• On a GR III / IIIx you can add:
  • aspect ratios (switched with the ADJ lever in the camera, full-frame RAW kept);
  • up to 20 films, each with its own parameters, with halation set in the camera;
  • soft focus on the ADJ lever, the date imprint, power-off pictures, and Image Control menu order and hiding.
• Added films can be picked for photos, movies and in-camera RAW development.
• The interface is the same as for the GR IV. No ratios or films are added by default; add them when you need them.
• Do not update the camera to GR III 2.20 / GR IIIx 1.70: that is a different program, GR Mod does not support it, and the camera cannot go back to 2.10 / 1.60.

GR IV: Direct Flash

• A fifth Flash Mode, Direct Flash: the flash fires at a fixed power, and the exposure comes from the focus distance and the guide number.
• Set it up in the camera under Flash Mode › Direct Flash Settings: guide number (GN 2–36), background (-0.3 to -5.0 EV), minimum shutter speed, exposure priority and maximum shutter speed.
• Exposure priority: Standard sets the shutter speed from the background brightness; Max Sync uses the maximum shutter speed whenever the subject can still be correctly exposed, so the background is as dark as possible.
• Maximum shutter speed: Sync Limit (default, the camera's own 1/2500–1/4000), 1/2000, 1/1000, 1/500, 1/250. A strong flash at full power burns longer than a fast shutter (a Godox iT32 at full power takes about 1/1000 s), so pictures come out dark; set the maximum to about 1/500 s. A Ricoh GF-2 works at the sync limit.
• Flash and ambient light are planned together. If the picture is still too bright at f/16 and the lowest ISO, the shutter gets faster, but at most 2 stops faster than the background needs; it no longer jumps to the sync limit.
• The camera's exposure compensation applies to the flash too: +1 makes the subject and the background one stop brighter.
• Turn it on with its switch on the Image Control page of the app.

GR IV: changes from 0.8.4 (since 0.8.3)

• Image Control has a new Menu order view: drag the looks, or use the arrows, to set the order of the camera's Image Control menu, and hide looks you don't use with the eye icon. If the look in use is hidden, the camera switches to Standard.
• Two new date imprint styles: the date followed by the name of the Image Control.
• Better preset fitting: more neutral colours and more colours from the corners of the gamut are sampled.

Other

• Switching cameras no longer downloads the firmware again: each camera's official firmware is kept once it has been downloaded or opened, and is opened again when you switch back.
• For the GR III / IIIx, Download works as for the GR IV: it shows Ricoh's newer release (marked as not supported yet) and the release this app uses.

Notes

• GR Mod 0.8.x can update itself to 0.8.5 in the app. GR IV firmware you have already downloaded is kept; there is no need to download it again.
• The GR IV still uses firmware 1.11. Do not update the camera to 1.20.
• With Direct Flash off, the GR IV firmware is exactly the same as the one built by the 0.8.4 test version.

Mac

GRMod-0.8.5-mac.zip runs on:

• Intel Macs: macOS 10.13 or later;
• Apple silicon: macOS 11 or later.

Unzip it and drag GR Mod into Applications. If macOS blocks it the first time, click "Open Anyway" in System Settings → Privacy & Security.
