• In-app updates: Nodal checks for a new version on launch, once a day while it's open, and from Nodal → Check for Updates… or Settings → Updates; shows the release notes and installs and restarts only if you choose Update. The sidebar footer shows the installed version, or "Update to x.y.z" when there is a newer one. Debug builds don't check. Coming from 0.1.0, download this version by hand one last time.
