Atlas 1.0.0 — an autonomous agent that lives on your Android phone

Not a chat client: Atlas plans, calls tools, drives the phone's UI through an accessibility
service, runs scheduled goals in the background, remembers facts, learns skills and delegates to
sub-agents. Powered by the CommandCode API.

Install

adb install -r Atlas-1.0.0-debug.apk # or open the APK on the phone

Then: Setup → Connection (paste your CommandCode key) → grant phone permissions →
Screen control (Android Accessibility → Atlas).

In this release

  • Atlas-1.0.0-debug.apk — the app (debug-signed, Android 8+)
  • atlas-full-test-run.mp4 — 25 s demo film: title card, a real four-tool run with captions, outro, original score
  • atlas-score.wav — the music bed, written from scratch with numpy

What's inside

  • 49 tools: device, apps, files, web, shell, UI automation, memory, skills, goals, sub-agents
  • Agent loop with streaming, parallel tool calls, approvals (off/smart/manual), foreground service
  • Screen control: UI tree dump, tap-by-text, typing, gestures, screenshots + a vision model that reads them
  • Autonomy: standing goals on WorkManager, one-off deferred tasks, notifications with results
  • Warm minimal UI: clay/sage palette, serif display type, hairline cards, spring motion

Verified on hardware (Galaxy A07, Android 16): streaming turns with real tool calls, parallel
tools in one step, the approval gate pausing and resuming a run, an unattended goal tick, a deferred
task firing two minutes later, a sub-agent returning 449.0, and screenshot → analyze_image
reading the screen.
